Baronial Herald Has Stepped Down And Seeks A Successor

18 Feb

Our Herald, Lord Irial Féasruadh ó hIarnáin, has stepped down and a successor is being sought.  The herald is one of the mandatory officers for a Barony and is responsible for seeing that names and heraldic devices are properly registered and for seeing that a herald is provided for being the “master of ceremonies” for baronial courts. The herald does not have to be able to do all of these things themselves; ideally they will have an interest in one or both areas and be willing to connect to other heralds as needed. Your letter of interest is due to our Seneschal.  Please cc our Baron and Baroness. Please include in your letter what you consider to be your qualifications (mundane and SCA), and why you would like the job, or what you would hope to accomplish. Letters of interest are due by the June 16 business meeting with the vote being at the July 21 business meeting.
